Bob Holland
Bob Holland, a former successful regional newspaper publisher, lost his beautiful and much-loved wife Jackie (72) to a brain disease in 2022. Since that time, he has devoted his time and efforts to projects designed to improve the quality of life of older people. One of those projects is his recently released coffee table book Good Company.
Good Company is a timeless, ‘first of its kind’ heart-warming collection of short stories, photos, nostalgia, humour and sentiment, all designed to provide the mature among us with a good measure of those “simple pleasures” that still stir our feelings and remind us of what life was like and how we did things back in “Dem Days”. The book will be thoroughly enjoyed by the majority of older people, and especially those who contend with loneliness, isolation and boredom on a daily basis. To purchase copies or find out more about what Bob’s doing, go to www.demdays.com.au
