I can't speak highly enough of the help Sinead gave me when choosing my travel insurance for an upcoming 6-week trip to Ireland. She explained everything and made it all so easy. I will certainly recommend her to any senior planning to travel. Many thanks Sinead.

Sinead presented herself as a very happy, knowledgeable person with terrific people skills, she answered all of my questions without hesitation. This lady has nailed it, she knows how to make a potential client feel important and she treats people with respect. It was late on the Friday, and we ran out of time to finalise the deal, Sinead promised me that she would phone me on the Monday around 9:00am, sure enough she did! Sinead is a first-class employee, and she deserves a high level of recognition.

Narelle was exceptional in every way as a representative of Australian Seniors Insurance. She went out of her way to explain our caravan insurance policy in detail. Narelle was friendly, knowledgeable, competent and had an obvious love for her job in her attitude towards the customer, especially making sure we felt confident with every detail before signing up to our new policy. This was particularly important as we had used another provider for the past 46 years. Narelle gave me time to discuss the new policy with my husband after my initial enquiry and rang back exactly as promised to finalise payment. Narelle is huge asset to your insurance company.

From a customer's perspective, personnel such as Sinead are great to deal with and should be valued and retained.

What a pleasure it has been to enquire about travel insurance with Sinead. She was so professional and helpful at all times. She was a pleasure to talk with and answered every question I had regarding travel insurance and above all returned my phone calls quickly with any questions she wasn't sure of. National Seniors Insurance are blessed to have such a delightful, helpful person working for them and I would recommend Sinead to any of my friends for travel insurance.

I would like to say that Sinead was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in quoting for insurance for a couple of policies we were getting for comparison for. She is very friendly, easy to talk to and makes you feel like a friend rather than just another customer, which I like. I would recommend anyone to contact her for their insurance quotes.

Disclaimer

National Seniors Australia Ltd ABN 89 050 523 003 AR 282736 arranges this insurance as agent for the insurer Allianz Australia Insurance Limited ABN 15 000 122 850 AFSL No 234708. We do not provide any advice based on any consideration of your objectives, financial situation or needs. Policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions apply. Before making a decision, please consider the relevant Product Disclosure Statement available from www.nationalseniorsinsurance.com.au. The relevant Target Market Determination is available by calling 1300 50 50 99. If you purchase this insurance, we will receive a commission that is a percentage of the premium. Ask us for more details before we provide you with services.

Information contained on this website is general information only.

1. Online discount

[Home] When you both quote and buy a new home insurance policy online a discount of up to 10% is applied to your first year’s premium. This discount is not applied to Domestic workers’ compensation (if available and selected), or upon renewal. Minimum premiums apply.

2. NCB

When you take out a new policy, we calculate your No Claims Bonus (NCB) based on your home or landlord (as applicable) insurance claims history. To qualify for the maximum No Claim Bonus of up to 30%, home insurance customers must have had no Building or Contents insurance claims in the preceding 5 years. Landlord customers must have had no Landlord insurance claims in the preceding 3 years. However, customers who have had claims may still qualify for a reduced No Claim Bonus. We won’t apply the full percentage of the No Claim Bonus if it results in you paying less than the minimum premium.

[Home:] The No Claim Bonus isn’t applied to the flood component of the premium (if covered) or Domestic workers’ compensation (if available and selected) or Portable contents (if selected).

3. Minimum premiums

Where discounts are applied, your premium is subject to rounding. If more than one discount applies, they’re applied in a predetermined order, so the later discounts apply to the amount already reduced by the earlier discounts instead of the total amount. Discounts do not apply to government taxes and charges.

Most discounts won’t apply below the minimum amount payable for the policy.

4. Excess reduction

[Home] Not available with respect to any additional compulsory excess, any imposed excess applied to the policy, or to the Portable contents excess (if Portable Contents is selected). Any reduction in premium won’t be applied to government taxes and charges, any flood component of the premium (where covered), or to the optional covers Portable contents (if selected) and Domestic Workers’ compensation (if available and selected). Minimum premiums may apply.

5. Instalment premiums

If you choose to pay your premium by instalments you do not pay us any more than if you pay your premium in one lump sum annually. The premiums payable by instalments may be subject to minor adjustments (upwards or downwards) due to rounding. Note: Your financial institution may apply transaction fees to instalment payments.

For more information about promotional or other discounts, please visit our Comprehensive Motor Insurance website here.

6. 72 hour waiting period

We may not provide cover for any loss of or damage to your property caused by cyclone, grassfires and bushfires, and certain other insured events during the first 72 hours after you first purchase a policy or increase your cover under an existing policy. Refer to the PDS for a full list of the insured events to which the 72 hour exclusion period applies and the relevant exceptions.

7. Earthquake excess

An additional imposed excess amount of $250 applies for each claim or loss or damage caused by an earthquake or tsunami, or a series of earthquake or tsunamis, during any period of 48 consecutive hours.
