National Seniors “$100 off your policy” offer

*This offer is only available to new members who take out a combined nib Hospital & Extras policy by 11:59pm AEST 31 May 2020. The Eligible Member will receive $100 off the premium payable. The $100 off will be fulfilled after the policy has been held for 60 consecutive days from the end of the month that the Eligible Product was purchased in, providing the policy has been paid up to date. Not available to existing AAMI, nib, Apia, Suncorp, GU Health or Qantas Health Insurance members, or to previous policyholders who have joined and cancelled 6 months before or during the offer period. National Seniors $100 off your policy


1.     These Terms and Conditions apply to the National Seniors “$100 off your policy” offer (“Offer”). This Offer and these Terms and Conditions are issued by nib Health Funds Limited ABN 83 000 124 38 (“nib”). By participating in the Offer, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2.     The Promoter is National Seniors Ltd ABN 89 050 523 003 of Level 18, 215 Adelaide Street, Brisbane City, QLD, Australia (“Promoter”).

3.     The Offer commences at 12:00 am (AEDT) on 1 March 2020 and closes at 11:59 pm (AEST) on 31 May 2020 (“Offer Period”).

4.      The Offer is only available in conjunction with the purchase of an nib combined Hospital and Extras health insurance policy, with a policy start date during the Offer Period (“Eligible Product”), and does not apply to a purchase of any of the following products: nib Overseas Students Health Insurance, nib International Workers Health Insurance, nib Corporate Private Health Insurance, Qantas Health Insurance, Suncorp Health Insurance , GU Health Insurance, AAMI Health Insurance or Apia Health Insurance, or those moving from one of these products to an nib combined Hospital and Extras health insurance policy.

5.      The Offer is open to permanent residents of Australia who are 18 years or over on the date they take out the Eligible Product (being the date of completion of join) but not to dependents moving from their families’, parents’ or carers cover to their own policy (“Eligible Members”).

6.     The Offer consists of a reduction of $100 off the premium payable for the Eligible Product (“$100 off”).

7.     The $100 off will be applied by advancing the “paid to” date on the policy by the value of $100 and will be referenced in the primary policyholder’s policy statement with the description “$100 off marketing reward”. The Offer will be fulfilled (“Fulfilment Date”) to Eligible Members on:

(a)               June 1, 2020, for members who join before March 31, 2020, or

(b)              June 30, 2020, for members who join before April 30, 2020, or

(c)                July 31, 2020, for members who join before May 31, 2020.

8.     Eligible Members must meet the following entry requirements (“Entry Requirements”):

a.     the Eligible Member must successfully purchase an Eligible Product during the Offer Period via National Seniors via direct debit or credit card;

b.     the Eligible Product must have a policy start date during the Offer Period;

c.      the Eligible Product must be current and fully paid at the time of the relevant Fulfilment Date;

d.     the Eligible Member must not be a current Qantas Health Insurance, GU Health, nib, AAMI, Apia or Suncorp health insurance policyholder at the time of purchasing the Eligible Product, or be a previous policyholder who joined and cancelled an within 6 months before or during the Offer Period; and

e.     the Eligible Member must not be an employee of the Promoter or its related companies, nib health funds limited or its related companies, or nib’s agencies.

9.     Limit of one (1) Offer per new Eligible Product purchased. Where the Eligible Product purchased is a couples or family policy, the $100 off will be applied only once to the Eligible Product.

10. The Offer cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or corporate policy rate, except the 6% direct debit discount where Eligible Members pay for Eligible Products by direct debit.

11. If an Eligible Member meets the Entry Requirements, the Eligible Member will receive an email after the Fulfilment Date to advise the Offer has been applied, providing they have a valid email address applied to their policy. Should the Eligible Member not have a valid email address applied to their policy, the Offer fulfilment will be referenced in the primary policyholder’s policy statement, available via Online Services or the Contact Centre.

12. This Offer is not transferable or exchangeable.

13. nib and the Promoter reserve the right to withdraw or substitute all or part of this Offer with another offer of equal or greater value at nib’s or the Promoter’s sole discretion. Eligible Members will not be entitled to any additional compensation in the event that the Offer or any element has been substituted at equal or greater value.

14. Proof of identity, residency and eligibility is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a person cannot provide suitable proof, they may forfeit the Offer in whole and no substitute will be offered.

15. nib reserves the right to disqualify any person who provides false information or who seeks to gain an unfair advantage or to manipulate this Offer.

16. Personal information is being collected by the Promoter and nib in order to facilitate the conduct of this Offer. For this purpose, personal information may be disclosed to selected third parties, including but not limited to agents, related entities, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Participation is conditional on providing this personal information. 1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the National Seniors “$150 off your policy” offer (“Offer”). Information on the Offer forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By participating in the Offer, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

7. Subject to Eligible Customers complying with these Terms and Conditions, including the Entry Requirements, the $150 will be applied by adjusting the premium paid to date by the value of $150 and will appear on policy statements with the description “$150 off marketing reward”. The Offer will be fulfilled (“Fulfilment Date”) to Eligible Customers on:

(a) February 29, 2020, for members who join before December 31, 2019, or

(b) March 31, 2020, for members who join before January 31, 2020 or

(c) April 29, 2020, for members who join before February 29, 2020.

8. Eligible Customers must meet the following entry requirements (“Entry Requirements”):

a.     the Eligible Customer must successfully purchase an Eligible Product during the Offer Period via National Seniors;

f.       the Eligible Customer must not be an employee of the Promoter or its related companies, nib health funds limited or its related companies, or their agencies.
